Introduction
Welcome to Rent a Car in Mykonos. These Terms of Use govern your use of our online booking platform and the services we provide. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
Rent a Car in Mykonos operates as an intermediary booking platform connecting travellers with licensed local car rental companies on Mykonos island, Greece. We facilitate the booking process but do not own vehicles or provide rental services directly.
Intermediary Role & Platform Services
Our platform allows you to search, compare, and book rental vehicles from local suppliers operating in Mykonos. We act solely as an intermediary between you (the customer) and the car rental company (the supplier).
All rental agreements are concluded directly between you and the local supplier. The supplier is responsible for the condition of the vehicle, insurance coverage, delivery, collection, and all aspects of the rental service. We facilitate the booking but are not a party to the rental contract.
Our technology partner, DiscoverCars, powers the booking engine and payment processing infrastructure. By using our platform, you acknowledge this partnership arrangement.
Booking Process & Confirmation
When you complete a booking through our platform, you will receive an instant confirmation email containing your reservation details, voucher, and supplier contact information. This confirmation serves as proof of your booking.
You must present the voucher to the local supplier at the time of vehicle collection. The supplier may require additional documentation including a valid driver's license, passport or ID, and a credit card in the driver's name for the security deposit.
Prices displayed on our platform include the rental rate and mandatory fees. Optional extras such as additional drivers, GPS, child seats, or full insurance coverage may incur additional charges payable directly to the supplier.
Free Cancellation Policy
Most bookings made through our platform include free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. Cancellation terms are clearly displayed during the booking process and in your confirmation email. Please review these terms carefully as they may vary by supplier and season.
Liability Limitations
As an intermediary platform, Rent a Car in Mykonos is not liable for:
- The condition, safety, or roadworthiness of rental vehicles
- Any damage, injury, or loss arising from the use of a rental vehicle
- Delays, cancellations, or changes made by the supplier
- Disputes between customers and suppliers regarding damage claims, deposits, or service quality
- Accuracy of supplier-provided information regarding vehicle specifications or features
The local supplier is solely responsible for vehicle maintenance, insurance coverage, and compliance with Greek road safety regulations. Any claims or complaints regarding the rental service should be directed to the supplier in the first instance.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure information on our platform is accurate and up-to-date, but we do not guarantee the availability, pricing, or specifications of any vehicle. Suppliers reserve the right to modify their offers without prior notice.

- Comply with Greek traffic laws and regulations while driving on Mykonos
- Use the rental vehicle in accordance with the supplier's terms and conditions
- Report any issues or accidents to the supplier immediately
You are responsible for understanding and accepting the supplier's rental terms, insurance coverage, and damage waiver policies before collecting the vehicle.
